It is not often we get to write a post like this ! Congratulations to our two students who have been selected for the Irish International Soccer teams!! Robbie Lynch has been selected for the Ireland U18 squad while Katie Lawlee will captain the Ladies U17 squad. The news came as no surprise to us as both students have been wonderful ambassadors for our school for many years now. We wish them every success as they take to the international stage.

Man of the Match
Well done Robbie and the Munster team. A tough game today vs Connacht in windy conditions finished 0-0 with both teams having some great chances. A 2-0 win over Ulster, 2-2 draw with Leinster and today’s draw with Connacht was enough to see Munster retain their School’s Interpro title from last year. A great performance by team captain Robbie saw him take the player of the match award today.
Interpro Soccer
Best of luck to Robbie Lynch who has been representing Hazelwood College in the FAI Schools Interprovincial Tournament this weekend. Robbie also has had the honour of being selected as captain of the Munster team this year. Today’s final game is against Connacht. Munster go into this game topping the table having drawn 2-2 to Leinster on Friday night and beating Ulster 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.
