Hard luck to the U19 squad who had a tough encounter today in Killarney in the 1st round of the Munster Cup. They played well on the day, but were up against a strong Killarney team. Onwards and upwards from here as they next move on to try and defend their title from last year in the Munster Senior Challenge Cup.

Congratulations to our u16 1/2 hurling team that came out victorious against Gaelscoil Luimnigh on a score line of 2-23 to 3-11. Thanks also to Miss McNamara for her support on the day. Another well done to the First year hurling team who just defeated CBS The Green Tralee in a very exciting and challenging match to progress to the semi finals of the County. Score 4-15 to 1-12

Hazelwood College U-15 Soccer team who today met Croom in the first round of the North Munster League. Lady luck wasn’t on our side today in an evenly matched game. We were very unlucky to lose 1-0 on the day.

Another milestone for Katie Lawlee as she starred for the Ireland U17s yesterday in their 3-3 friendly draw with Portugal at the iconic Estádio Nacional in Lisbon. This is the same stadium where Celtic won the European Cup in 1967. The sides will clash again on Sunday as preparations continue for the upcoming UEFA WU17 European Championship Qualifiers in October. Keep an eye on the FAI’s YouTube channel for possible live streaming of the game on Sunday.
