The annual assesment of students intending to enroll in the following school year at Hazelwood College will take place in the Sports Hall at Hazelwood College on Saturday Morning 19th November.
The annual assesment of students intending to enroll in the following school year at Hazelwood College will take place in the Sports Hall at Hazelwood College on Saturday Morning 19th November.
On open day for all Primary 5th and 6th Classes will take place in the school on Friday the 19th November. Students will see examples of work, music, dance and facilities at Hazelwood College. They will have an oppourtunity to meet with current students and see them at work. The following day Saturday the 19th November assessment will take place in the Sports Hall of prospective students for enrollment next year

The Leaving Certificate Applied 1 Class will visit Kilfinane Outdoor Education Centre on Monday the 7th and Tuesady 8th October on an overnight trip. While there they will take part in activites such as Rockclimbing, Hillwalking, Canoeing and Orienteering.
Eamon Dalton from Limerick County Coucil will be in the school to speak to all first Years on Thursday 27th October

Pictured are Hazelwood College Students Brogan Clancy, Julette O Flynn and Katie O Connor who won joint 1st place in the recent ‘Waste to Art’ Competition. The competition was run by Limerick County Council as part of the Better Environment Awards, held at the Woodlands House Hotel recently. The students used waste materials to design and make a sculpture and these sculptures are currently exhibited in the County Council offices in Limerick. They are pictured with their art teacher Ms. Maria Curtin.

The Third Year Science class will be travelling to Fota Wildlife Park to take part in an Ecology Study on Wednesday 19th October
The Leaving Certificate 2 classes will attend an all day Study Seminar in the school to teach them study techniques in preperation for thier exams this year.
