Germany Day 4

Our final day of or trip took us to Dachau Concentration Camp. A somber start matched by the weather. It was certainly a memorable experience and the students listened intently to the horrors that had taken place in the recent past. Thanks to strikes in Germany our flights were cancelled so next up was a 5 hour bus ride through Switzerland to Zurich to catch the next available flight …3 countries in 4 days- it has definitley been adventure with 44 fantastic students who have been brilliant company and an absolute credit to their families and their school.

Germany Day 3

Day 3 of our German tour! What a day 😀 A cable car to almost 3000m brought us to the peak of the Zugspitze, Germanys highest peak where we learned the true meaning of a snow day ❄️🏂 followed by hot chocolate to defrost. Next up was the fairytale castle of Hohenschwangau with breathtaking views that were the inspiration for storiesbsuch as Sleeping Beauty. Finally some of the group headed to Munich city centre to see the sites and braved the subway home.

Germany Day 2

Day 2 for our German students on tour – a good sleep, a hearty breakfast and they were ready for road. First up was the sound of music tour , taking in the famous sites from the film. With some beautiful spring sunshine breaking through it was hard not to be impressed by the spectacular snow capped Austrian Alps. The afternoon was spent with free time to take in the sights of Salzburg- birthplace of Mozart. A great day with lots of laughs on the way 😎🏔️

German Tour Day 1

Some very tired students this evening after day 1 of the Senior German tour to Munich. A journey through the night allowed us to enjoy a full day in Munich – taking in the Olympiapark, the impressive BMW museum and some shopping. A good nights sleep now needed before we head to Salzburg Austria in the morning.🇦🇹
