Leaving Certificate Trip to Gaeltacht

The Leaving Certificate 2 higher level classess will travel to Dingle on Friday 24th March for an overnight trip to the Gaeltacht as part of their preperation for Leaving Certificate Oral Exams the follwoing week. while there they will visit the Blasket Centre

The Junior Hazelwood College Chess team will travel to Villiers School in Limerick on the 24 th o meet them in the next round of their Championship

Wuthering Heights

Transition Years will visit An Tintean Theatre in Ballybunion Co. Kerry to view Wuthering Heights. This new production is targeted equally at young people who will be studying the novel for examination purposes

Novelist Visits School

Annual Retreat

The annual reatreats will take place in the school on the 30th and 31st January.

The retreat will be for 3rd Years on the 30th January and for Leaving Certificate 2 and Leaving Certificate Applied 2 Classes on the 31st January

Third Year DAT Testing

The annual Differntial Apptitude Testing (DAT) of the school’s Third Years will take place on Friday 27th January. The results of these tests are a great aid to the guidnace counselling staff in helping students pick subjects and courses appropiate to them for the Leaving Certificate and their future careers
