U17 Hurling SemiFinal
Congratulations to the Hazelwood under 17 team who were victorious in their Munster semi final against Borrisokane on a scoreline of 4-17 to 2-17
Basketball News
Hard luck to the under 19 girls basketball team who lost to Mercy Mounthawk in the south west B semi final. Unfortunately the girls came up against a stronger side on the day. The girls have trained and worked very hard to get to this point and it was an excellent achievement.
TY Debating
Congratulations to our TY debaters who successfully opposed the motion ‘Africa should be allowed develop fossil fuels to lift their people from poverty’. A unanimous 5 -0 win for Hazelwood College against Gaelchólaiste Mhuire AG Cork. We are so proud of their dedication and hard work. Keep it up!

The 6th Year LCVP class had a fantastic visit to the Woodlands House Hotel and Spa in Adare on Wednesday 22nd November. Thanks to David Fitzgerald and staff for their wonderful hospitality.
Today we were delighted to welcome Marcus Bale from Cyclone Rep to perform his highly engaging one-man show “Shylocks Revenge” for all third years. Students enjoyed playing roles in the show themselves and picked up lots of useful information for their upcoming Junior Cycle English exam
