Hazelwood opened the scoring early with a point from 70 yards out from Billy Naughton who then went on to score 1-6 of the Hazelwood total. The half time score was 2-7 to 0-4 in Hazelwoods favour. Hazelwood dominated the second half and finished out the game with a comprehensive 2-14 to 1-4 victory.
